"Greening the MLS" Project with USGBC Louisiana and NOMAR
NOLAVibe is working with the US Green Building Council-Louisiana, Global Green, and the NOMAR (New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®) Green Committee in a collaborative effort to educate REALTORS® about the new Green Attachment to the NOMAR MLS (Multiple Listing Service). The Green Attachment is a disclosure completed by sellers that provides data fields for energy and resource efficiency improvements, including certifications such as Energy Star, USGBC LEED and NAHB (National Association of Homebuilders) Green. Projects include outreach to area real estate companies, financial institutions, developers and appraisers.
