ElderVibe
ElderVibe is a NOLAVibe positive aging initiative that seeks to integrate the processes/transitions/flow of life into community design. Globally, aging populations face daunting challenges in a world of diminishing personal, social, and environmental resources. And with threatened coastal communities seeking higher ground, there must (and will) be many new communities planned. We propose that urban planners and community builders re-think the layout of communities to more effectively integrate the transitions/flow of life, from birth to death, into the heart of the community.
