Water Innovation Clusters

NOLAVibe is actively engaged in helping build the Louisiana Water Economy. Water Innovation Clusters are regional hubs of public, private and academic partners working collaboratively to strengthen economic, social, and environmental health. A water cluster is an economic development engine that assesses and connects regional assets and resources to address challenges and create new opportunities.

NOLAVibe water cluster research, panels, and presentations:
  • Discovering the Water Assets of the Greater New Orleans Region: A study to develop strategies to build a water economy
  • Louisiana's Water Innovation Cluster: Is it ready for global competition?
  • Building Louisiana's Water Cluster Published in the proceedings of WEFTEC 2014
  • Global & National Trends: Entrepreneurs, Water Clusters, Finance A discussion with Steve Picou of NOLAVibe, Dean Amhaus of the Milwaukee Water Council, and Dr. Barry Liner of the Water Environment Federation at the 2014 Water Challenge
  • Louisiana's Water Innovation Cluster Presentation for 2014 State of the Coast Conference
